Quicklit is a curated creative platform within kuieralot®. We publish original writing from contributors across South Africa who want to share their voice with a wider audience.
This is not social media scrolling content. This is writing that deserves to be read.

How it works
Submission Guidelines
- Work must be original
- No plagiarism
- No hate speech or harmful content
- No explicit adult content
- Must be submitted in Word or Google Docs format
- Include your full name and a short author bio
- Include a profile photo if you would like one published
- Maximum word count: (you decide, for example 2 000 words)
- You may submit in Afrikaans or English
What Happens After You Submit?
- Our team reviews all submissions
- If selected, you will receive confirmation via email
- Selected pieces are published on the Quicklit page
- Your name and bio will be included
- We may feature selected pieces on our social platforms
