kuieralot® Delivery Policy
Last updated: 11 August 2026
This Delivery Policy applies to physical products purchased from the kuieralot® online shop at kuieralot.com. The shop is operated by KUIERALOT (PTY) LTD, trading as kuieralot® (“kuieralot”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
This Policy forms part of our Shop Terms and Conditions. Our Returns and Refunds Policy explains how to report and return damaged, defective or incorrect goods.
1. Delivery area
We deliver to eligible addresses within South Africa using The Courier Guy. The delivery options available for your address will be displayed at checkout.
Some remote or regional areas may have limited service days or longer transit times. If we cannot deliver to the address provided, we will contact you by email to arrange a suitable alternative or cancel and refund the affected order.
We do not deliver to an address outside South Africa unless an international delivery option is expressly offered at checkout.
2. Delivery methods
Depending on your address, parcel size and the options enabled at checkout, delivery may be made:
- door to door; or
- to a selected The Courier Guy Parcel Locker, Kiosk or collection point, if offered.
The available service will be displayed at checkout. Selecting a delivery method does not guarantee delivery at a specific time of day unless we expressly confirm a time-specific service in writing.
3. Delivery charges
Standard delivery within an eligible South African delivery area costs a flat rate of R99 per order.
Standard delivery is free when the products in an order total more than R799. An order with a product total of exactly R799 does not qualify. Eligibility is calculated and shown at checkout before you place the order.
The qualifying product total excludes the delivery charge and is determined after any product discount or coupon has been applied. If a discount reduces the qualifying product total to R799 or less, the R99 delivery charge will apply.
The delivery charge confirmed at checkout forms part of the total order price. We will not add a new delivery charge after accepting your order unless:
- you request a change to the delivery address or method;
- the information supplied for delivery was materially incorrect; or
- a reasonable re-delivery or return charge arises from a failed delivery or uncollected parcel for which you are responsible.
4. Order processing
Processing time is the period we need to confirm payment, prepare, package and hand an order to the courier. It is separate from the courier’s transit time.
Estimated processing times may be stated on the product page, at checkout or in the order confirmation. Personalised, made-to-order, pre-order and out-of-stock items may require additional time. If an order contains products with different processing times, we may dispatch them together when all items are ready unless we agree otherwise.
Orders are normally processed on business days, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and South African public holidays.
5. Estimated delivery times
Delivery estimates begin when The Courier Guy collects or receives the parcel, not when the order is placed. The estimate shown at checkout or communicated after dispatch is not a guaranteed delivery date unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing.
As a general guide, The Courier Guy currently indicates that many national overnight and road-freight deliveries take approximately two to three business days after collection. Regional or remote-area deliveries may take longer, and collection times and routes vary by location.
Business-day estimates exclude weekends and public holidays unless a special weekend or public-holiday service has been arranged and confirmed.
Where the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 (“ECTA”) applies and no different timeframe has been agreed, we will execute an order within 30 days after receiving it. If we fail to do so, you may have the cancellation rights provided by ECTA.
6. Dispatch and tracking
Once your parcel has been dispatched, we or The Courier Guy will provide tracking information using the email address or other contact details supplied with the order.
You can track a parcel using its waybill number on The Courier Guy website. Tracking events are supplied by the courier and may not appear immediately after collection.
Please contact us at kuier@kuieralot.com if tracking has not updated for an unusual period or the parcel appears to be delayed. Your sales agreement remains with kuieralot; we will raise an appropriate enquiry with the courier where necessary.
7. Delivery information
You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate:
- recipient name and surname;
- street address, suburb, city or town, province and postal code;
- email address; and
- mobile number where requested at checkout for courier notifications.
Please include a unit, complex, building, business or access code where relevant. Check these details carefully before placing your order and email us promptly if a correction is needed.
We cannot guarantee that an address can be changed after dispatch. Any delay, return or reasonable additional delivery charge caused by incomplete or incorrect information may be charged to you, subject to applicable law.
8. Receiving a door-to-door delivery
Please ensure that you or an authorised person is available at the delivery address during the courier’s delivery hours. The courier may obtain the recipient’s name, signature, one-time PIN or another form of delivery confirmation.
A parcel accepted by a person at the address you supplied may be treated as delivered to you, unless you told us in writing before dispatch that delivery may be accepted only by a named person and we confirmed that instruction.
Before accepting a visibly damaged parcel, note the damage with the courier where possible. Photograph the outer packaging and contents and contact us promptly. Accepting a parcel does not remove statutory rights relating to damaged or defective goods.
9. Parcel Locker or collection-point delivery
This section applies only when a Parcel Locker, Kiosk or collection-point option is offered and selected at checkout.
The Courier Guy will send collection details and any required PIN or QR code to the contact information supplied for the recipient. Keep these details secure.
The Courier Guy’s current terms require a Parcel Locker consignment to be collected within 48 hours after PIN notification. An uncollected parcel may be moved to a depot or returned, and a further delivery fee may apply. Follow the instructions and deadline in the courier notification, as operational requirements may change.
If a selected Locker or collection point becomes unavailable, we or the courier may contact you to arrange a reasonable alternative.
10. Failed delivery and uncollected parcels
If delivery cannot be completed, The Courier Guy may contact the recipient, leave an electronic notification, hold the parcel for collection, return it to a depot or return it to us.
If a delivery fails because no one was available, access was unavailable, the address or contact information was incorrect, or a parcel was not collected in time, you may be responsible for a reasonable re-delivery or return charge.
If a parcel is returned to us, we will contact you by email. If you do not respond within a reasonable period, we may cancel the order and refund the product price, less any lawful delivery, return or handling cost for which you are responsible. This does not limit rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Delays
Delivery may be delayed by circumstances such as severe weather, road closures, load disruptions, flight or route changes, peak-season volumes, public holidays, strikes, civil disruption, security incidents, remote-area schedules or other events beyond our reasonable control.
We will take reasonable steps to assist and keep you informed if a material delay is brought to our attention. A courier delay does not automatically entitle either party to cancel unless the delivery date was expressly agreed as essential or cancellation is required by applicable law.
12. Lost parcels
If tracking indicates that a parcel may be lost, email kuier@kuieralot.com with your order number. We will investigate with The Courier Guy.
If the parcel is confirmed lost before delivery, we will provide the remedy required by law, which may be a replacement or refund. We may ask you to complete a reasonable declaration or provide information needed for the courier investigation.
13. Damaged, incorrect or incomplete deliveries
Inspect the order as soon as reasonably possible. If an item is damaged, defective, incorrect or missing, email kuier@kuieralot.com promptly with:
- your order number;
- a description of the problem; and
- clear photographs of the outer packaging, shipping label and affected item where possible.
Keep the packaging and damaged goods until we confirm the next step. We will assess the issue and arrange the remedy required under applicable law and our Returns and Refunds Policy.
14. Risk and ownership
Risk of loss or damage passes to you when the goods are delivered to you or a person you nominate. For a collection option, delivery occurs when the parcel is collected by you or your authorised recipient.
Ownership of the goods passes only after we have received full payment.
15. Product and courier restrictions
Some products cannot lawfully or safely be transported by courier. The Courier Guy prohibits or restricts various dangerous, illegal, flammable, toxic, perishable, high-value, fragile and other excluded goods.
We will not dispatch a product using a service that we know is unsuitable or prohibited. If an ordered item cannot be carried by the available courier service, we will contact you to arrange a lawful alternative or cancel and refund the affected item.
